I've been searching for Pennsylvania and Virginia historical aerial photos ever since I paid nearly $100 for one of my mother-in-law's childhood farm in central California.

Historical photos were taken between the late 30's and early 50's.

Go to the site, select a county, select a town, click the map to zoom in, click the "Display Historical Photo" on the left, click a gold dot near your target area to start the download process. Sounds like lots of clicks, but not hard once you do it a time or two. (BEWARE: This is for HIGH SPEED connections! These are HUGE files.)

If anyone knows where to find a similar site for Virginia photos, please let me know.
