Tks Chris. I did not come here to get attention for my great finds, and I may not have as good and as rare stuff as some. I really like looking at athers people finds and I thought others would like to see some stuff from Tennessee. Iam not a expert on artifacts but some of the pictures that I have posted, I have had some of those for 50yrs.
I live in a bend of a river, and I hunted alot in the 60s before the lake came in 1970 and covered most all the river bottom land where most of the farming was done.Artifacts are getting hard to find around here but I am still looking.

Great artifacts. Nice collection of celts. The knife is the Killer. That thing has to be around 5 inches. And notched. Thanks for the pics of those finds!

I know it really does stink when they flood the low lands to create lake. The time to hit that is when they do there periodic draining of them. I bet you will find more then ever then. I have heard of countless cave structures there and that would be where I would start looking. If you have a producing field and you can find a cave nearby it will most definitely be a used dwelling. If you find one do a test dig. Not to mention there are a few Tennessee hunters on here that you might be able to hook up with.

Now as far as your artifacts and rarity, well in my opinion all stone artifacts are rare. No matter where they come from, each and every Native American Artifact recovered is a rare piece. Just as you said it is getting harder and harder to find good hunting spots. I have a feeling that after this century is over there will literally be no more spots other then those in private hands that will be good hunting grounds for artifacts. It is a shame what has happened to this country................Show off you finds we all would love to see them.....................................Chris

It makes you wonder what is in them river channels of all those man made lakes. Lost for ever in silt...

Nice relics...
