Don't know if it's related to the Civil War but the bottom pic could be a lock spring from an old muzzle loader. Monty

Thanks Monty, We were not sure about that one, Trk5capt thought it might be some type of leaf spring from a wagon or a carraige. Maybe someone will figure it out, HH Art...

Got a question on the recurved piece in the center of 2nd picture. Is it iron, is it magnetic? If so, I think it is a fire striker from a flint and steel fire starting kit. The shape is typical from that period.

Just my 2 cents worth.

You already have the good luck, so I will say happy hunting. Good finds.

Hi all its my first post :)

I reenact the Civil war and know a great deal about it.To me everything you have there looks like knapsack buckles and clips,may be wrong but im pretty sure.
