I recently got a new permission for a 1830's log cabin that hasn't been lived in since the 1960's. The caretaker of the property told me to have at it and that I can come back at any time. A couple hours later I had dug 3 first's (I've been doing this for a little over a year). 1946 Walking Liberty, 1882 Indian Head, and a Matron Head. I can't quite get the date off the Matron Head. Either way I'm excited!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Seems like you're off to a great start. Hope you can find more.

Nice hat-trick of finds.

I was thinking more along the lines of 1823 at first but agree it is probably 1833.

Hey excellent finds! That largie is a nice green beauty and the walker really nice too!

I found an 1833 a couple weeks ago. Yours is MUCH better looking. Congrats.

Well done with those finds. You've secured a fun place to detect!

Nice finds. That half is probably my favorite US coin. That LC is in great shape. Congrats... I bet much more is to come.
