Actually, it's what I can't find - what has happened to Plehbah?

Did I miss something? What has happened to Plehbah? I have always loved his posts, although infrequent, but also love his replies to everyone else's posts. I see that Plehbah hasn't posted since August 7th. I hope everything is ok with him.

I have been wondering/worrying about Plehbah as well. I hope he is okay.

I have no way to get in touch with him, other than PM's. His presence is missed here.

Curbdigger Carl may know some details about how he's doing.

He was at one time an Archeologist and spoke of another member here who was one also. He mentioned him once in his last topic the future of metal detecting.I think his arky friend might know him personally. I find it hard to beleive no one knew him. He may be around. :icon_sunny:

If he was an Archaeologist at one time, then he was an asset to this forum.

The last I saw of him, he was sitting on the ground petting a dog...

I had remembered this post and another where he had spoken of being involved with some academics on an important dig some years ago/ . I know some archeologist but they only lurk on this site do to peer pressure.
Here is Plebah's post

171 OUR COMMUNITY / GENERAL DISCUSSION / RE: AN OPEN DISCUSSION ABOUT THE FUTURE OF METAL DETECTING AS A HOBBY on: Jul 21, 2009, 11:42:54 PM
And who has decided that anyone cares about technical reports written about the archaeological contents of public lands and that the public never gets to see?

What makes anyone think that "big money" is involved here? If anybody has money, it is the oil companies, and I assure all of you that they would love to see the archaeology go away.

This has to do with a professional establishment passing restrictive legislation against our hobby in the name of job security.

Archaeology is not generating any money at all except for archaeology. Some folks here act like they are taking on a country or religion.

I am an archaeologist for crying out loud. I think the hobby can take clever and proactive measures.

Where is philvis?
