Ace 300 coil on Ace 250????

Are the coils interchangable between the Treasure Ace 300, and the Ace 250? Thanks for any help on this subject...Tom

Well, if you're referring the the Crossfire II coil, I gave that a shot today as I had a Crossfire II coil (8.5") on my older Ace 200 and it seemed to work. I had a bit more depth and had to drop my sensitivity. As far as everything else... everything SEEMS to work. I did note some of my signals seemed clearer but perhaps that my imagination.

Well I posted a similar message last night (before I saw yours) but I got no responses so I thought, hmm, maybe I stumbled into something that no one has tried. I did and I can't say I'm sorry as I think I just a little performance boost.

Did mine today, seems to have gained a little depth, but the target id is off a bit now....Cool trick tho..

Hmm, I haven't noticed any change in my Target ID but I did notice the jump in depth almost right away.

Might just be mine, it DID increase depth..for a cheap detector, you just cant beat this thing..

Before I purchased this machine I did a little research one the cheaper machines. Being on a shoestring budget...well, better make that a half shoestring, many references kept pointing to the 250. So I finally purchased one and have been very happy with it. All the features this machines packs are truly unbeatable for the price.
