ACE 250 Question?

I have had my ACE 250 since last august and I like it a lot but I have a question about its operation.
I will use the Jewelry and Coin mode as an example in my question.
For example dose the jewelry mode detect jewelry better than the coin mode, and dose coin mode find coins better
then jewelry, or do the modes just add or remove different notches in the discrimination?
Dose jewelry mode for example make the machine more sensitive to gold or silver?

Jewlry mode will give you coins and jewlry.Coin mode can give you jewlry but not as common.I just run jewlry at 6 and most of the time .Coins at 6 when i just wana hunts coins.

The only difference in the modes is the tones that you hear. In jewelry you won't hear iron. It doesn't change how it picks up different objects. Sensitivity will increase how well it picks up deeper objects.

I like the Detector Pro Pirate seems very sturdy already dropped headphones and today accidentaly pulled on the headphone coil cable pretty hard.Really bought it because it was fairly reasonable and like beach and lake and land hunten.Very acurate targetting and pinpointing seems quicker at that than my Ace 250 though i do like the Ace alot as well.
