Ace 250 problem

Like the rest of you I started out with a bh just to get my feet wet when I realized I enjoy the hobby as much as I do was able to purchase an ace 250 secondhand from a hunting partner of mine. Was enjoying the hobby a lot more with Ace 250 until it stopped working. Read on the forums how good the customer service is at Garret so I decided to call knowing that I bought the item secondhand really didn't feel I had much to stand on. But the great customer service ^ care provided me with a lot of helpful information and also sent me a new search coil at no cost to me being that my ace250 is over six years old and I bought a secondhand I'm astonished with the customer service at garret thanks .( Now if the mail would hurry up an come )

Thats what Keeps me using them..They are still "Old school" in there ways of CS...I have had little issues when i first got my ATP and they didnt hesistate to solve them. IN fact when i broke my Arm Cuff, they went and sent me 2 , just incase it happened again...Glad to hear you had a good experiance as well....HH

WOW! That is great. I haven't had any problems but everyone says their service is great. Makes me glad I have 2 Garretts and ATP and Ace 250

I bought one without battery cover or holder the sent me 2 free now I am a garrett customer for life great customer service!

My first detector was a used ace 350 after a couple moths the battery meter disappeared . Sent it back to garrett for service . Two weeks later ups knocks on my door with a box inside a brand new detector and all contents that I didn't have !!! No cost to me at all! Can't get any better than that ..

I have a Treasure Ace 300 with the 8 and 12 coils and its held up pretty good. I take it to the beach all the time with the 12 on it.

Garrett has a great customer service I returned a pin pointer with no problems and I do recommend their ace series for beginner dirt hunters
