Hello, I'm going to get to hunt for the first time on Florida beaches. I have an ACE 250 and a Whites 4900. I prefer to use the ACE so has anyone had an issue with it on the beaches, wetsand, lowtide, etc. I can wait to search but I don't want to be disapointed when it starts acting up on the beach. Thanks

Outdoorsup....I also have an Ace250. I hunt the beaches near Charleston and haven't had any problems...though I don't put the coil in the water...It does extremely well on the dry sand and pretty good on the wet sand. If you start getting a lot of false sigs..turn the sens down ..... Just don't expect too much in the edge of the water....

Another Ace 250 beach hunter, I’ve been using mine on salt beaches for seven months now and mine works good up until Sunday, don’t know what’s happening yet. I find that if the sense is too high it’ll start falsing in the foil tone but won’t be repeatable. Other than that it’ll act like your on dry land.
