Man, was it windy today....The NW wind factor brought the temp down to -15. But, if you want to get the goodies, you got to hunt. I used ace 250 as my weapon of choice. There was a lot of snow-loot lying around which the ACE sniffed out, but the best find was this chain, frozen in the tundra. I had to hack three lumps of tundra to get that chain out in one piece. I took those three hunks of tundra home and soaked them in some hot water to extract the chain in one piece.

Here's a pic of the snow loot and snow chain all washed up. Not a bad haul for this time of year.

Here's the silver chain with the medallion attached. Both the chain and medallion were made of silver. The obverse side of the medallion had whatever was stamped sanded off. Maybe a love affair gone bad? Who knows....

Who said an Ace won't find silver?

JE,
just curious, where do you hunt this time of the year? Is a ski resort or what?

I hunt snow hills where kids toboggan and snowboard. They lose loot and jewellry. I find the odd ring too, probably from taking their gloves off and the fingers being cold and slightly smaller.
