Ace 250 "freeze up"

Ace 250 "freeze up"

When I turned on my Ace 250 tonight, the screen came on and "froze up". I had the larger coil installed, and nothing I did by pushing buttons (even power button) made any difference. I finally had to remove a battery to get it to reset. Anyone else had this problem---what did you do about it?

That happened once, and out of nowhere really. I suspect it was some form of interference, as I was in my room with the TV and DVD player on. Otherwise, I don't have an explanation. Removing the batteries was the only cure. Worked fine afterwards.

Have had freeze ups like that several times on cell phones, and removing the battery solves it. Glad you mentioned this, Wabash, in case it happens on one of my detectors

happened to me to and did the same thing and been working fine.
