I was watching a video by The King of Rings, CrackBadger a couple of weeks ago and he said that he finds a lot of his rings using an ACE250. Up until today I had my douts.

I was working a big and old park here in town and I got a nickle signal at 2-4 inches. I get a lot of nickle signals and they are almost always pulltabs. This one was different, it didn't bounce around, just a solid and steady nickle, so I dug it thinking I was digging a nickle. Then...a glint of gold... could it be...yes!...GOLD. A 14kt gold men's wedding band.

Users of ACE250 if you discriminate out your nickle signals or don't dig the nickle signal you won't find gold.

OOPS...forgot the photo

Actually a scan I don't have a digital camera, it's not easy showing a 3 dimensional item on a scanner but i think you'll be able to see it

Awesome find MR, I am beginning to believe that all metal is the only way to go. I'll be living vicariously through you folks for awhile. I had surgery this AM and am out for a minute. So keep posting all those finds, and spare no details. Bongo

Way to go Rob,
Michgan will produce more rings too.

HEY HEY HEY,

Great job there sir, yes be ready for those nickels and pulltab signals on the ace. You're right many times theyll be pulltabs and nickels but ull also be pulling gold our of the ground if ur patient and persistant. I'm so sorry I havent got around to putting out the video about the signals, I've been crazy busy with work. Most all 14k will ring up on the nickel and be very steady as you said, unless they are a little deep they will not bounce at all and be a very constant. 18k will be the same, but keep in mind 24k will stay and not bounce on the 10 cent marker on the ACE. According where ur hunting will determine how many pulltabs you dig. I dig mostly on beaches and under the tide line so not many pulltabs just lots of gold ooo oya!! Keep digging and great find by the way! HAVE FAITH AND ULL FIND THAT SHINY STUFF!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS AND GREAT RING
