Hey guys,
Got my ACE in early February and have used it nearly everyday since. Find tons of clad with it and quite a few wheat pennies, but only two silver coins to this point and both of those were quarters. The first was a pocket spill with a mix of pennies and a dime...couldn't miss that signal. The second was a loner between 4 and 5 inches deep with a very iffy signal. It was bumping quarter so I went ahead and dug it, thankfully. The areas I'm hunting right now are very trashy so I notch out everything before the penny notch and run the sensitivity between 4 and 5 with the stock coil. It has been great for finding clad, but I'm wondering if I'm missing silver with the machine set-up this way? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
