Nice finds jamey.

I think you did very well... Any marks on the lamp? ...looks to be jadeite and grats!

Is that smaller knife made by Cutco? Those are pretty nice. I sold those while I went to high school. If they had a set you might want to go back.

Good stuff and a good eye. You can make a profit on just the chef's knife. I like the jadeite lamp and the baseball bat pocket knife. Is that a bone handle on it? Is the orange one a Schrade paratrooper? Also what is in the glass vile, can't read it.

hey thanks guys, diggummup, the orange knife is a camillus new york it says and yes the paring knife is cutco the base ball knife is a bridge something co.the handle is not bone but says major league ball on it.not sure whats in the bottle, had a bunch of old appothacary bottles this is the only one that had something in it

oh i cant tell what it says also007.webp005.webp

oh sorry sterling cant find any marks on the lamp

It looks very much like an opium vile. Nice flared lip too. Could be worth some good money. I have an opium vile but it's cobalt blue, exactly like this one that just sold for $179.50-Poison Cobalt Blue Opium Bottle J Brothers Chemists and Druggists | eBay . I love unique old glass. Check this piece out that I found a short while back- http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/bottles-glass/334178-dr-dettweiler-s-sputum-flask.html

I got both of these for less than $5 each. They were part of a bunch of stuff I bought at one estate sale.

oh sh-t hope it dosent have opium in it,the sale i went to was one from a dentist who had died.wonder what i should do with it,pull the cork out and dump it you think?

Well for sure do not call the local agencies for advice. Don't tell anyone either. I imagine they will call hazmat or something on you. I would dispose of it some how if you are unsure what it is.

Nice haul. The large knife appears to be a JA Henckels. A very nice knife indeed. I have used mine
for over 30 years. Get it professionally sharpened now and then and you will be very pleased with it.
Grats on the finds.

that lamp might be akro agate ....clarksburgh wv...theres a site that will id it...akro or not....the shades are mostly gone...to find one with the shade is da bomb....another possibility is houze glass in pa...they didnt assemble the lamps but made the glass parts....
here try this.....http://akro.tripod.com/

wow,you all are very helpfull,i think ill just stash the stuff and check into the lamp.i find all kinds of things around nashville.i may start selling stuff also,i tried ebay sold a bird i paid 8.00 dollars for for 75.00 but bit of a hassle paypall fees ebay fees even had to pay for a free listing i think but duffyytrash you helped me before what do you think the lamp is worth the thing that holds the shade to the bulb is missing a nut and bolt though, thanks again eveyone hit me up with a pm if your interested in something. thanks

That Starret dial caliper will sell well if it's not too pitted and rusted.
I also agree with Diggumup on the orange paratrooper knife.

At least someone finally mentioned the caliper. I've been keeping my eye out for one for a long time. You did quite well for $20.

the lamps sell for 50-75$...the shades can get about twice that...they can sell apart...but since you have both a couple hundred would be a ball park figure...dont rebuild it....i would research it before you try and sell it google roger hardy..he is the akro guru....him and his wife has a museum in clarksburgh wv...they are nice and helpful people...there is an akro show coming up....
