Abandoned military training grounds

This area was established before the civil war and abandoned soon after WWI. We've found tons of barber halves, dimes and mercs here, as well as crossed musket pins, a U.S. Cavalry belt buckle, and a completely intact stirrup. Even got stalked for a few minutes by a curious passerby.

Went out there two days ago and found the two eagles within less than a foot of each other. The mountain side is beautiful just as the sun comes up too. A small misty fog rolls through it, then opens up to the full warmth of sunlight, making for absolutely perfect hunting conditions.

Totally awesome finds. Great assortment of find. I would definitely go back. There is more there and definitely some big old silver.
