This area was established before the civil war and abandoned soon after WWI. We've found tons of barber halves, dimes and mercs here, as well as crossed musket pins, a U.S. Cavalry belt buckle, and a completely intact stirrup. Even got stalked for a few minutes by a curious passerby.
Went out there two days ago and found the two eagles within less than a foot of each other. The mountain side is beautiful just as the sun comes up too. A small misty fog rolls through it, then opens up to the full warmth of sunlight, making for absolutely perfect hunting conditions.
