That piece has definitely been altered by the hand if man. Either a really rough Blank/Preform or possible Chopper used to break open bones to get marrow.

Definitely a tool there. Good find. I cant say what it is but a scraper or axe are good guesses I think.

Nice find could be small chopper / axe but most will prob classify it as a blank or preform

If so it was never used as one. It shows no polish that is always present on Hoes with extensive usage.

Grim is spot on, it it was used as a hoe it sould have some polish on the tip, could have been used as a chopper, more likely a preform.

I never said it was a finished hoe blade that was used every day, just that it reminded me of one. To speculate, it's a pre-form that could have taken many directions after further work.
