A Whole Flock of Them!

I dig up various pieces and parts of metal thingamabobs all the time and I usually don't too excited about trying to figure out what each and every thing is, but these really have me stumped...

While digging a Wheatie, I noticed these odd shaped rocks in the same general area of the hole. I eventually pulled 28 of them out. They're about the same exact size of a Hershey's kiss. The material they're made of (I'm sure they were "made", not formed in nature) seems to be a greenish hue granite like material. They are all close to the same size and shape. I don't know if the pictures will show it, but the bottom of each one is slightly concave.

They've been in the ground a while because there were roots grown around them. If anyone has any ideas whatsoever, I'd be glad to hear 'em!

Makes sense to me. I wonder why they were in the ground and all in a small area. Oh well, I suppose some things were never meant to be figured out.

Strange, isn't it. I've seen almost identical items found by members with-in days of each other and hundreds of miles away. I believe one time there were as many as three.
