i think it looks like a wall stud or floor stud where they used to put the thin end in between the two bricks or in concrete :dontknow:

SS is right, you should post it on UKDFD. I think it looks possibly maybe sort of spikey, so I'm going with a replacement sharp thing for a war hammer or mace, but I didn't tell you this :tongue3:.

A weapon of some sort was suggested :-\ I'll post it there, but not sure if I'll get an answer :icon_thumleft:

Looks like a soldering iron and the handle is missing. Should be made of copper.
Looks like it got a lot of use. Roofers use them soldering copper flashing's on slate and tile roofs. Nothing else rings a bell.

I drew a sketch of a soldering iron I have seen. I think Jon has one like it . They were for soldering roofing tins and flashing's. Whats the chance it being anything else.
