Went to visit my parents in West Virginia last week and had a chance to get out for a few hours.
Didn't find much at any of the old home sites I new of in the woods, but around what looked like some
corner stones for a barn or something I found the Clock Front and the Chauffeur's Badge.
The Badge is in pretty good shape, the clock front was badly rusted.
Still had a Great time! ;D

Nice finds. The south is rich in treasures and not all of them gold!

The Chauffeur's Badge is awesome and the "clock" front should be able to be restored if you wanted to,would make a nice piece. Here's one I got from Modern Miner last year, turned out Beautiful.....Great job

Civilman1,
That clock really looks awesome! Sure was a Great Job by ModernMiner.
I will defiantly have to give mine a try.

And to Kidismuke1,
I use to have a Great Civil War Detecting PLace here in Scottsboro Alabama,
but the property was sold to a lawyer. I have already asked and he has said No.
I finally got the nerve to ask him and was planning to tell him about what I had found
on the property when I had permit ion. But when he came out of his office to see me he
simply said he didn't want anyone out metal detecting on his property >:(
I'll just have to look for another one place to go. ;D
