Ya know...... With the exception of a few bad apples, Metal Detectorist's are some of the most caring, unselfish & giving people you can ever meet! I was contacted by Bob Washabaugh in a private message about a carved piece of lead depicting a bust of George Washington he dug in near a Rev War fort site in Pa.He said Dave I want this to be put with your Washington buttons so it can be shared and appreciated.I really didn't know how to respond? He kept saying that it would probably end up in a box on a shelf if he donated it to a museum and he kept insisting that he wanted it to be with the buttons.So....Here he is! Bob I can't express how much of a honor it is that you wanted me to have this.I am at a loss for words. Thank you so much!
