The box of halves I ordered finally came in this week so I picked it up, making sure to order another for next time. Nothing but clad until about the 14th roll, I open it and see a silver rim that's a bit haggard. I thought it was a 40%, but when I took it out of the stack I saw 1964 on the obverse! My first 90%!! Another few rolls in yields a 1967. A little more than halfway in I see another silver rim, this one is well worn. I take it out and discover its a 1943 Walking Liberty Half! Another 90% and another first in my CRH career!! *Does the happy prospector dance*
Total take was:
2 90%: 1964 and 1943 WL
2 40%: 1967 and 1968-D, one of which was an ender.
So far this has been my best box. I hope my next one is just as good if not better. Even at $40 an ounce, there's still silver out there for the finding. HH all.
