Hi all, there is a colonial site I saw in the compound of my friend's parent house. It is believed to be a concrete foundation which might been used to place on some kind of motores(machine) by 1 of former europian colonial powers' soliders. It is a concrete stone with a cuboid shape of 1.5*1*2 metre(aprx). It also has 4 thick screws on(which made me guess that it is a concrete built to be a foundation to place on some motores or machinaries on). I am wondering if it could be a concrete of hidden treasure rather than just a colonial site, tomb or foundation etc.Can any1 please tell (guess) what this concrete could be? +is there such history of europian colonizers leaving(buring) some treasure behind during their departure from the country they colonized? Thank you .

You sure it's not an old septic tank.

Me to. Don't think so, but don't know when concrete came into use either. Probably should google it and find out, maybe later.

Concrete was invented in the caveman days, you should all know this? Fred Flintstones bosses daughter Concretia discovered it :headbang:
Most likely if you are on an old mine site, it is a winch platform. If it's a farm then it's probably for a generator. Early 1900's or later this was common. Here's an old pic of the winch and generator platform from the old Lukens Mine in Pilot Hill. I couldn't find the old pic with the winch in place but this works. These are really common.
