Yea not much here on this one to be proud of but thats life! :D Got out again today tried a different site and knew it was going to be not the norm after my first dig which was the old radiator from out of something before my time anyway sure it wasn't around in 1972 :laughing7: It was in the ground to now liked not ever got it up cause the roots all through it. Any Ideas? Anyway I burnt to much time on this place and after the ring came out and saw what it was to (not real) not sure on what it would date but I think this place was late 1800's-early 1900's.I was purdy bumbed. So I wallowed head down in shame back to the boat.Did stop on the way back in at a site I've pounded purdy good already and found some more musket balls. And old pottery pieces! Also add to the lead scrap as well with some large chunks of it.I guess all in all the copper radiator with price for copper made it OK!

Hi tk, one thing, bearing in mind all your other great finds, is you can keep your head held high :icon_thumright:. We all hit bad days :laughing7:.

hh

hammered

1/30th of the total weight is 14K, so basically plated.

Pete,

You can't win every championship and KKC witnessed that last Sunday. The site we hit totally sucked and was a bummer. We do have permission for a new site and we hope to dig some coppers this weekend. :dontknow: I guess we will see if it has been hunted. :dontknow:

Take care, Pete the Colonial Man, and continue to post your finds from the Carolina shore. :icon_thumleft: I enjoy them a lot!

Kirk

After looking at some of the other things from today I'd say Old Ford Model T radiator cause I have the petcock too and part of the ignition box!
