I work with a guy that found a $3000 diamond in a transformer vault downtown. Must have fell out of one heck of a ring. Don't think they can't be real!
 

Its amazing that you saw that stone on a parking lot. When I was doing clean up from the tornadoes a few months ago, I found a very small amethyst earring laying in the mud. I am not sure how I found that even.

Actually, I am ALWAYS looking for things that sparkle out there. Not everything is broken glass. :)
