I'm pretty sure the bottom thing is an old women's rouge tin. I would bet on it. I found one myself. I'm guessing yours is from the 30's to 50's. Is that a powder puff still in it in the pics? Super nice swastika coin!!! I would be thrilled to find one of those. Look it up online, some of them are worth a bit

Nice token I found one in an old pile of dirt sitting in an abandon lot sold it like a dummy and found out later it was worth close to 200 Sold it for 15 lesson learned I sell no coins or tokens anymore .

I found one of those to about 4 inches down next to a huge tree. The whole area was a buried trash pit with lots of iron signals. but i coaxed it out. still have it.

Nice token man.

I have several of them. All with different advertisements on the back. They date to the early 1900's.

Yes it is a nice token, it'll probably clean up good too. I dug one simular also, I lightly cleaned with with water and tooth brucsh, sold it on ebay for I think $10 a couple years ago (wasn't worth $200 tho). I believe it's from pre WWII era.

Not real old but a nice find. Congrats!

That is a cool site! :icon_thumright: Thanks!

Nice find....wonder how many people ditched these in the 40's?

Seems they used that reverse with swastika horseshoe etc.. on quite a few designs. I have one with
Homesteaders notification number and a cabin on the obverse.

Nice find for sure..

good looking toke, never seen one before ..... then I see yours and one on another forum in one day ...congrats!!!!! :headbang:

The Swastika was used by many cultures from around the world for thousands of years.... it's a sun symbol. However, Hitler was obsessed with the occult and esoteric practices and saw the Swastika as a symbol of power, that's why he chose that symbol, he took something ancient in design and corrupted it for his purposes. Awesome find!

I think that I have read that this good luck symbol and the Swastika, are look alikes, but actually the Swastika is reversed, so they are different. The symbol has been used by the Buddhists for a long, long time. Dont know its origin.....just have
seen many many of them here in S. Korea.
Good finds.
