After a lovely week off work, finally we got to go swinging. Stunning warm sunny day after a pretty wet week, still no sign of the sugar beet farmers so we got another day in the fields just outside the village.

I got a little scrappy Roman and bonus you can see a face (facing left), super cute love heart button 💙 a strap end, buckles, a tiny stud, my best pot mend ever… you can see the thumb imprint! Part of a crotal bell, little lead disk and buttons! The other bits are, as ever, a mystery to my untrained eye 😆 xxx

All in all an absolutely perfect day in my life! 😍 xx

Yeap, broken 14th C Buckle & to the left part of an 18th C Fob Seal, missing its double sided stone/glass insert.

If both the left and center artifacts were discovered in the same area, I would say they were part of an old possible roman scale.
The other piece is perhaps a sharpening stone.

Record ID: WILT-B05B1A - MEDIEVAL buckle

Above is the similar type of Medieval Buckle that has a roller in the centre.
The left bit is clearly part of a Fob Seal, so has no relevance if found nearby & the right hand piece is part of a Pewter 18th C Spoon handle.
