A sniff of English silver

Hit the beach very hard the last two weeks after several strong NW winds veering to SE. This little batch of silver was very welcome the George IV 1826 shilling being an uncommon find. The three Canadian coins made into a brooch is lovely. Its pin is missing but I will have it put back so it will be worn again. The gold ring is 9k as is the paper thin broken locket. Have enjoyed the Equinox in the last year on the shore, finding a lot more low conductive targets than ever before.

ps. Since the coins are not that old to us, they get barrelled!

If those are salt water finds how the heck are you cleaning them? Nice finds!

Congrats on the nice silver digs! :icon_thumleft:

Very Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

Some really nice finds you got there. It seems like the NOX does well on the mid and low tones. The coin brooch is cool and it would be awesome if you got it fixed to be worn. Good luck to ya!

I've only beach detected a couple of times, & had next to nothing. You must really know what your doing.:occasion14:

Now that's some very nice beach finds. Absolutely a great bunch of Silver. Wtg
