Well, they predicted rain for today, but after a morning shower, it stopped. So, after taking care of some errands, I decided to stop at an area park in the afternoon. I just happened to have the SE in the trunk with a charged battery.
I went over to an area that I had pulled two sterling rings from last year. I figured I'd hit the area real well and dig any signal that could be gold. That's when I found this really ugly junk snake ring that was so bad I had to take two pics of it!
After picking up about $1.10 in clad, I got over to an area that I've done well at with coins before. Got a little junk and a couple of good signals there today. Here are a couple of pics of one of the holes. I put them in because to me, this is the best part of any good hunt - the dirt-covered silver still in the hole.
That hole produced a '57 Rosie and another netted a '46 Rosie. Not as old as I would have liked, but I'm not complaining. It's SILVER! After a long spell without getting any, it finally seems to be coming along.
Good luck to all and I hope you're able to get out soon!
