I found this object a while back in England and still do not know what it is.
It was found on land in a former Viking village.
Many great finds were found on this land.
This find has been said to be a Viking object, but I would like to know what it is.
Hopeful that someone here knows that.

The find was gold-plated back then; some pockets of it remain.
In the middle is a portrait of a 'King' with Norman style helmet

I have not yet cleaned it of all the mud, but maybe I will do that.
I do not want to remove any of the plating.

Find number a758
Weight in grams 3,15
Metal Bronze
Size (mm) H 28; B 21

Details This is a small object in a pyramid form.
In the center there is a man's image with a crown.
On the man is a Norman style helmet.
It appears to be a King
On the bottom are two holes (mounting) one on each side.
