No idea not being that knowledgeable. But im guessing its a hole all the way through otherwise you wouldn't have posted it.
Very interesting if it is. Can happen in nature though. Nature can throw up some nuts rock finds.

Hi Chilli, Entirely possible formed by nature, did check the hardness and performed an acid test it points to the material that was used will be taking to local museum to turn in will keep posted. Thanks for the interest, Greetings from Saipan

I had to Google Saipan as it's the first time I've heard of it. Great looking coastline there, can't look that good without good fishing too 😃
It said there was a big battle there too so im guessing there's no short supply in military finds.
