Hello T-Net Nation,

In trying to be a good American, and embracing " social distancing", I was able to get out into the woods for a few hours on Saturday.

My first stop had produced some colonial era items in the past. This hunt was less successful, but did result in some interesting relics. If anyone could identify the item in the middle of the picture, I'd appreciate it. My wife thinks its a clock hand, but I really have no idea.

My second stop produced my first Big Silver of the year, a 1946 Walker in really nice condition. This was part of a large coin spill that also contained a 1951-S Rosie, two Jefferson nickels, and a handful of wheaties

I wish everyone good health and good digging, and as "Hill Street Blues", Sergeant Esterhaus, would say in every episode..." Let's be careful out there"! Scott

Nice Hunt,, Congrats on the Big Silver :icon_thumleft:

I can't say for sure but my guess would be one of those swinging keyhole covers

That’s a really sharp walker, wow! I plan to do some social distancing this afternoon- I hope I do even half as good as you.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1585497901.487414.jpg

Always nice to find a Walker half dollar. Good hunt for sure. :icon_thumright:

Great coin spill I think Shes right with the clock hand. Who is the one detective who looks like a Bum on Hill Street Blues on one episode some Guy accused him of assaulting him so the Captain asks him did you assault him and he said Captain I swear I never laid a tooth on Him LOL

Gotta love the sound your machine makes when you swing over a walker!! That’s a beauty fer sure. I agree with Tommy, it’s a clock hand, even has the “S” on the back to signify “second hand”. Actually I have no idea but it sounds good and if I’m wrong, it’s Tommy’s fault (;

Thanks everyone. Tommy- I think the character you mentioned was Mick Belker...what a great show!

I agree with Joe Dirt. I was going to suggest swinging key hole cover, maybe for a jewelry box. Very nice finds, and congrats on the Walker.

Really nice walker congrats on a beautiful big silver! I am going with keyhole cover. I found one of those and clock hand was my first guess until I looked at some keyhole covers. The length of it makes me think that. If it was a clock hand I think it would be longer. Just my guess on it.
