Today I went to a North Shore beach to take advantage of the minus low tides. On a couple of occasions, I've found silver coins in the wet sand. However, today no silver coins were to be had. But, I did come up with a lone silver earring. It looks quite old and it's stamped sterling on the back. Have a look. zz65.pngzz64.png

That's a very nice piece. Looks like it has some age!

Thanks Silvermonkey. The beach it came from is on what is known as Long Island's Gold Coast. It might be very old but I don't think it was in the water that long. It was in very good condition and it cleaned up very quickly.

Thanks Terry. I've been finding a lot of unusual items these past few weeks. I was looking for Silver coins because I've found them before at this beach. I didn't expect to find this silver piece.
