After a 10 half-box skunk streak, I hit a 1.4%-keeper box which included a 1999 90%-silver proof.

When I opened the box, I thought I had a rewrapped skunker until I saw the little lady walking:

It had two walkers, two bens, 3-64's, 6-40%, and 1-90% proof.

It was a nice box. That was my first 90%-silver proof after 3.5 years of CRHing.

Keep on stacking!

LOL!! Nice! I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago. Thought for sure I got some jerk's repacked dumps, till I saw Ben's face staring up at me.

Nice find! Its good to see a proof! Thanks for sharing it and hope you find more of them!

Awesome! Congrats, man.

My boxes vary from super-tight rolls that are almost impossible to open to being so loose the coins are practically falling all over the place.

No rhyme or reason to it but the loose MWR's historically have been much better to me. modern 90%ers are tough to find. Congrats my friend. Old silver is good but NIFC silver is better.

Anybody explain how so many silvers would end up in a searched box as ends looked opened. I have 2 boxes like this 2 weeks in a row.

They are not actually searched rolls, but most likely are the result of a machine that was not setup right or has some loose parts. They have a random deshelved look that rewrapped rolls don't usually have.

I looked through a box of halves with loose wraps in FL a couple years ago. When I opened up the box I also thought I had gotten someone's re-wraps, but I searched it anyway and it was one of my best boxes ever. I agree with Zero about the wrapping machine being incorrectly set up so the resulting rolls are loose.

that is a beautiful coin!
I'm encouraged about more and more reports of success out there.
The silver vein even found me last week: 5 40% half dollars AND a 1964 JFK! After the skunk fest I have been living it was like a dream box!
I am hoping for a little more in tomorrows box.
I have a new superstition to test. It seems when I already have silver in the house I don't see any in the boxes.
Last week I put a few stragglers in my safe deposit box before getting new coin to search. That's when the silver flowed back.
So, last weeks little cache is put to bed. Tomorrow will tell the tale!

It worked!
I found one coin in todays box-a 1935 Walker.
Not a bad one, if you can only have 1.
