I can see more countries doing this over the next few years depending on how things go financially. Those holding PMs saved their a$$e$ while those who had their money in the bank are SOL for almost half per the story.

It will happen here soon. Gov't can't keep on spending and printing money (or minting trillion dollar coins) without the whole system crashing sooner or later.

Yea I saw that already on Doc's site Jim, what a shocker, I didn't expect that. Now those poor people will be buying gold, silver and dollars like crazy if they can get it. Yep that's why you and I and others are stacking the smack just for crap like this happening. Keep Stacking it doesn't feel good in my gut.
