Robed for nearly 2 hours today at an old homeplace and finally hit some scattered brick. Did some digging and found a few broken bottles. Found an intact porcelain lid for a mason jar, a tiny cobalt blue jar and a 3 in 1 oil cork top bottle. Also found a broken "Christmas" coke bottle that i will be converting into a glass.

Thanks for looking. Like i said, nothing good to report but what a beautiful day it was for digging. On a funny note, just before i left i felt something crawling on my lower back side at the top of my butt cheeks. I have lost about 30 lbs over the past 3-4 months so my digging jeans are rather lose fitting. I must have had the "plumber" look going at the time this insect was crawling on me. Anyway it proceeded to crawl south and thats about the time i reached around and swatted it. Come to find out it was a yellow jacket and it stung me right in my butt crack. Lol

Better than nothing. And great idea with the coke bottle. Show us the finished product please.

You did better then Stacy and I.While doing a little ML hunting we came across some broken glass scattered around on top.
We went back with some rakes and came close to finding some Washington D.C.bottles,nothing whole. We found one amber med. cracked with the only keeper a glass stopper.

THAT we really need pictures of! Remember what's been posted here so often, if there's no pictures, it didn't happen.
