A second ring from the ballfield

This 60's ballfield has been pretty good to me the past month. This is the second ring it has given up, along with three silver coins posted previously. This was the first dig of the day at this site. A previous site only yielded clad. My goal this year was to improve on my jewelry finds, in particular, gold. I now dig targets I used to pass by. Used to only dig 18-22 range readings for nickel/rings. I have since learned that you have to dig the tabs and aluminum trash to get the good stuff. I got this at reading 24.4 on the Spectrum; wonder how many of those I let get away in the past? This is only 10k, it is stamped 10K Camelot. I assume camelot is a style or ring maker. Anyone know for sure? As for the bad news, I broke the Headset attachment while getting out of the truck. Guess I'll be down a few days while it's in the shop. Oh well.

I did a lot of different signals myself,,, nothing other than plate gold yet though...
Keep up the good work.
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Treasurekid: No, I am in Missouri. Thanks for the link to Camelot Jewelry. The former owner may have been from there though, since I found it on a mil. base. People there from all over. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I would probably pass on the 24 reading. :) Thanks for the tip.

Maybe make a new years resolution...some goals of my own.

Oh yeah, nice ring!

Now now...10k is still gold. Gold is gold. Now that you've learned your lesson, I'm going to turn around and twittle my thumbs for an hour or so... :)

Nice ring!
