Got these all over the place... good hunters they are!

Cool Egret...I do see those from time to time, but more Herons around where I travel.
 

Never see one of those around here.
 

I just love watching them"hunt"well...when I was down south anyway,to far north now...so I watch these.:laughing7:

Snowy Egret.
They try to eat the geckos/lizards here.
 

Yep i watch them pick the lizards out at will. They are also very graceful flyers.

Cant tell... is that a blue herron? Or some other kind... so many alike.
I think we have more blue herron than the white egrets.
Seems they are more skiddish though. they walk off before I can get close in most cases.

Ya it is,there's a five mile bike path running between the Conn. River and the Windsor Locks Canal,quite the area to catch some good wildlife,they close it from mid Nov.to April for migratory birds,BIG fish in that river too!
