Found this in a northern Michigan logging ghost town. Town existed 1900-1914.

Pretty clearly a porcelain sign, or something similar.

The spot where all the lines "radiate" from seems to form a manufactured lump in in a slightly angled edge. Makes you think the red lines are radiating sunbeams.

The metal is thick, and rigid.

One of the holes looks manufactured.

Its two sided, the other side would be identical, but it"s in much worse shape.

It could very well be upside down in the picture.

What ya think it is?

It reminds me of them Japanese propaganda posters with the yellow and red paint. Could have been a old store and that was advertisement.

I thought of that Japanese look too.

There was a general store there, but all I know they had for signage was Spearhead Tobacco.

Very good. Thats it, thanks

This is from an Ebay auction, says 1920's-1930', guy trying to get $895 to $1175 for it. Makes mine worth about a dime.
