Found this in the creek I have been deer hunting over, and it has me stumped. It looks like fossilized Ivory, it has the sound of stone when you tap on it, it is also very lite. It could be petrified wood you can see grains, but you can see grain in some Ivory
At first I thought it was a awl and then I saw where it had been made to be hafted. I myself have never seen a hafted awl but I'm no expert so I am asking for all ideas, is it a point of some type or a awl






I'm going to carry it to a friend that has a very high power microscope, I looked at it under mine but I'm not for sure what I'm looking at, but he for sure will know.
