A Place to Hunt!

Just wanted to share a site with everyone. My friend has some land that used to be part of an old airstrip. We have explored the area with 4 wheelers and found some, what we think are old foundations. Stones stacked up in some areas and piles of old bottles in others. So today I will be going over with my MD and hunting for caches. I will also be taking some pictures for everyone to see the site and what I find.

I did a little exploring myself this weekend instead of detecting. My friend and I took 4-wheelers and went to a place where there was supposed to be an old stage coach stop. We talked to a really old lady whose family were sooners ( came into OK before the land rush) and use to operate the stagecoach stop. She told us the general area to look. We found some old stones that were placed in rows as opposed to random and when you looked at the right angle you could see where the old road use to be, ruts, smaller trees, etc. There is supposed to be some graves nearby but we couldn't find them. Spent most of Sunday looking and will go back first chance I get with my detector. Don't have any idea what might be there if anything after a hundred years!
