a pin? a button? kearny division and some pocket change

Second day in florida. I found this very interesting, need some help too. It says kearny div. GA. USA and something like ail before the GA. It says .50 in thecenter. And 50 k and 490 on the stem piece. A 50 caliber round balls dimension is 490.. wasnt sure if this is a quincidence. Ive seen some civil war info on a kearny division. And i saw a george washington inugural pin that looked exactly like this. Any possibility its from the civil war? Thats todays findss off to the beach later.

Hey i just found two of those here in east tn. Have you found out what they are?
