Not turquoise. It kinda looks like azurite after a copper mineral. Is that possible in that area? That or manmade. Very vivid colors; should make nice jewelry.

I have no idea? I just know I frequently find them in the bottom of some of these freshwater lakes up here. :dontknow:

Do you have any idea on the hardness of the blue? Its probably pretty soft, like sheetrock innards, I bet.

I'm guessing it's soft. Seems to me I put one in a rock polisher years back and it ate the blue away rather quickly?

When I was about 35 I couldn't even form a sentence or paragraph, bluffed my way through high school, etc. So after this was pointed out to me one day in not so easy fashion it became a priority in my life. :laughing7: I hated that person then, appreciate them now.....:icon_thumleft:
