an old book I found

I found this old book when helping cleaning a old ladys house out. she threw this book out along with some other ones that were common but this one caught my eye so I kept it. Its in russian I would assume as its printed in moscow 1958. The title is in english print on the inside of the book: preliminary results of scientific reasearches on the first soviet artificial eath satellites and rockets. Also below says XI section of igy program (rockets and satellites) No.1. It also contains a slip I believe signed by the author m.g kroshkin which says: dear sirs: enclosed you will find a scheme of a transmitting data from scyntillation counter mounted on sputnik 3 and a book "preliminary results on scientific researches on the first soviet artificial earth satellites and rockets" with best wishes,
Sincerly yours,
M.g kroshkin
Secretary
Rockets and satellites working group.

I have the scheme and some lose papers explaining the scheme. The book and papers in decent condition..ink blotch on the book cover minimal spine damage on top and bottom small portion. Any ideas of a value?. I have looked but dont see any other copies of this that I can find.

Anyone have any idea of a value? Or where I could try and find some answers?

My guess is that you need to get in touch with a space related ephemera or memorabilia dealer. A book such as that would be hard for me to come up with a value on. Regency Auctions does some space related memorabilia items, but I'm not sure what a technical manual such as this would realize value there (probably worth sending them a email with pics though). To the right person, assuming that this book and related papers are as rare as I suspect they are (I haven't researched them at all), this could be a grouping that sees some real value. $50 or $500, I can't say. You might look on Alibris for a book dealer that specializes in old technical manuals, or space related texts. I doubt that the signature is from the author, as I suspect this was a compilation or committee report. He may have been a contributor, but there probably wasn't a straight up author. Hope that helps.

Thank you very much :) any help is good will check it out
