Sorry, I intended to post a pic of this tree I found but forgot my camera which had the Card with the photo in it. Regardless, I found this odd tree while on Vacation to see the family in Tennessee over Christmas in a old cemetery. It is a huge cedar with a pine growing out of it about 7 to 8 feet up. The pine grows out about a 30 degree angle creating a giant V. I detected around the tree and found a couple of clad quarters. I shot a 274 degree azmuth through the V and followed it to a old growth oak in the woods. The same 274 degrees gave me another old growtn oak in line with the first one. A third old growth oak line up on 274 from that oak. I had to stop because the sun was setting, but I was wondering if this merited futher investigation. The Cedar does not have a obovious crook or hollow that the pine could have grown out of and the area was a hot bed of Confedrate sympathizers. Thanks, and I will try and post tomorrow. BTW This is the first time I have ever found a tree like this and was let on to the location of it by a freinds father.( I had walked by it several times in the past without ever noticing it).
