A November Hunt in Tulsa

My friend, John from Arkansas, joined me today to hunt the yard of an old house in Tulsa. Posted below are our finds for the day. I found two Mercury Dimes, a 1939-D and a 1944. John found a 1948 Washington Quarter and Roosevelt Dime, and a 1943 Merc. Five silver coins in all. There were eight Wheat pennies between us and a bunch of clad. The best find of the day was made by John of an old Indian silver ring with two beautiful Turquoise stones in it. Also found an old copper tube that has a small hole in one end and inscribed on the other end is "Helen Neushaefer Inc. and Made in The USA". Any idea what this was - maybe a lipstick, but it doesn't look like one??? John also got a One Miil Oklahoma Tax Token. So far the Explorer II is ahead, but the Fisher CZ-3D will catch up tomorrow.

Colin, you're a lot tougher than I am! I went over to the jogging trail in Sand Springs yesterday and about froze! Nice finds, looks like perseverance pays off. Monty

Nice job, you lucky Okie!! I've got 6" of snow here in Washington and can't get out to hunt! Keep it up, I'll live vicariously through you.

Very nice haul, WTG!!!
Good luck on keeping up with the ExplorerII. My cousin uses one, and I use a CZ3D, It's hard to keep up with him...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Nice batch of finds you got there.
