Re: A no idea stickpin

Its the Cross of Saint Peter which is an inverted Latin Cross. The inverted cross has also been used by anti-christian and satanic groups but as to what the symbols are I have no idea.

That makes a lot of sense.  It was in with a bunch of German stickpins that I picked up.  One has already been identified as being from around the WW1 time era.  This one looks newer than the others, and could be a Nazi item from WWII.

It is upside down. See post by Harry_Morant.

Looks like someone needs to look up the Hebrew alphabet for a complete/accurate translation:0

At least that's what I think...I could be wrong.

I'm no expert but it doesn't appear to be Hebrew.

Were all the other stickpins in the group German?

Also - this is a reference to the conqueror's or victor's cross

conquerers_cross_wegast.jpg

The conqueror's or victor's cross is the Greek cross with the first and last letters of "Jesus" and "Christ" on top, and the Greek word for conquerer, nika, on the bottom. The lines over the top letters indicate that they are abbreviations.

Yes they were. I also posted them all in the What's It forum. For the most part, they were all identified. 3 of them were marked Germany, a medal I thought was English, was actually a German surfing medal, and this upside down cross. Would really like to know what it is supposed to represent.

Interesting. I would have never guessed that. Thank you for your explanation. It makes sense, along with the facts that Harry_Morant pointed out.

You guys are the greatest.
