The Group: 2 Quartz Wading River Points, A very small Lamoka, A small Quartz Alsop Meadow (best guess), a Rhyolite Squibnocket Stemmed Point (broke tip), a tiny Quartz Triangle Stunner with a crystal tip (strange: base has a slanted crystal crack on both sides) and a Crude Quartzite stemless blade (fashioned from a spall with cortex on one side.

Nice! I like crystal tip triangle. The quartzite blade may be a bit crude but an interesting piece none the less.

Nice finds! You have a great eye, hunting points in all of those broken, angular rocks.

Thanks.
All of the points were found along a small rock outcropping along the New England shoreline. There is a mini cove (50’ radius) where the rock wall deteriorated and the ancient blanket soils above have washed into the mix below. It’s only accessible for a couple hours a day. It’s a difficult area to get to, but if you’re willing to time your entry and patiently mill through it, it’s rich in artifacts after an ocean blow.

Great finds! It may be difficult to access the beach in question, but it’s clearly worth it. Two thumbs up!

The funny thing is, I picked up that group in one visit. I’ve posted a couple of nice points that I’ve picked up there in the recent past. (A fine quartz Levanna and a Rhyolite Merrimack point) It finally dawned on me (after finding a few) to search through and really take my time.

That small bluff was used through many occupations. The land owner has been friendly and gracious to me.
