For the first time in quite a while, I dug up an Indian Head cent, an 1899, and that made me very happy. Somehow it's far less toasted than the two Wheat pennies I found nearby (not pictured). Also found a goofy junk ring marked Hong Kong that says "Love You" on a foot, because really, when you think of love, you think of bare feet.
Also found the smallest, lightest sterling ring I have ever seen. It's marked sterling but I'm skeptical, though it did come out pretty shiny. Anyhow, it's broken and I don't know any newborns who would want to wear it to begin with.
Found the two costume jewelry pieces and some clad and can slaw and bottlecaps, etc. It was nice to be outside one last day before the possible "wintry mix" arrives tomorrow and disrupts Spring.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
