4 hrs of beeping in the iron patch.
Full post on why a high end machine gets the job done in another thread.

I have been falling into the lazy mode of not posting up the finds-too tired and the time requirements of finishing the task.

Watch winder is a keeper and the gold wash flower pendant is cool.
Match safe (flattened) is a different one again-not many dug.
Fits of early low end Victorian/Georgian jewelry
Found a bell in my garden patch-will post later-still in the truck.

I went out the other day for a couple of hrs-first back field was a nothing so I went back down across the highway to a blacksmith site-there was a patch down by the farm yard that produced a 1.5 hr dig.
!917 dime. 1943 penny and 5 bells, and a few odds and sods.

What program did you install? I installed the Tekkna last night and going out this morning to try it out, supposedly to be good in heavy iron patches!

That's what I put in.
You're going to hear everything basically.
Just like 0 discrimination would sound like.
Lots of highs, but you'll tune into the iron off the edge of the high.
Also doing another swing over it the ID will drop like a rock.

The targets that are to be dug stand out, all the noise seems to stop, and it's easy to hear.
By the last 30 minutes I didn't even look at the remote, just went on sound.
Reactivity will be the only setting you'd change. 3 did seem like the sweet spot in 2 sites. 2.5 in my quite field. But in the iron it was back to 3.
