With the exception of Rush Limbaugh, ALL other media sources when describing the democrat party, it is always as democraTIC. The common belief is that they don't like to hear or say RAT at the end of their party name and that may be the only reason but another reasons could be they want to infer that they are the only party who believe in democracy or they are just oversensitive about their party name.

It doesn't matter that we are a Republic, their base doesn't know the difference. Just ask a democrat what party they belong to and with very few exceptions they will say the democraTIC party.

The democrats and media have stretched the protection of their name to extraordinary lengths when they in controll of either House of the Congress they are defined as being " democratically controlled'.

Well, if the oversensitive democrats don't like the RAT at the end end of their name, how about using TICk as they insist on using, after all, ticks are bloodsucking little beasts that suck blood from their hosts and spread their diseases everywhere, especially in minority groups who are 'infected' with the democratic party.

So, I submit a new 'logo' for the 'democratically controlled' Senate and come 2014, may the infection be terminated.

Deep,

I usually enjoy reading your posts and then debating about the topic.

However, I just don't see any point to posting this?

I think any blood sucker or parasite would work as a logo.:laughing7:This picture is fitting too.

This was meant as humor, but it kinda wouldn't fit in the Comedy section.

Democrats really are not the monsters the Right portrays them as, they're people as well. My mother voted Obama twice, has never voted outside the Democratic party.

But, you thoroughly analyze what's going on, it's people who are calling themselves Democrats who are the problem.

Our economy was doomed to crash when it did because of all the mistakes made prior to '08. What hurts us now is that no steps are being taken to get us back to work - many things I could point to, like Keystone for instance. I directly relate to that because my career is in the construction industry.

And, absolutely YES we needed something changed in healthcare. But not this bloated travesty of Ocare.... I have first hand experience with healthcare before - paid $835 a month for healthcare. Went in just for a real check-up - and though I thought I had the best insurance available, was proud of that - my part of the bill was $10,000. Nothing was done, just tests and scans.

Incidentally, I went to the hospital and struck a deal with them to lower that to $4200 - they'd rather get that than none.
